Here’s an impressive, shiney new concept video for the Microsoft HoloLens. Microsoft released the HoloLens, the company’s augmented-reality headset and platform earlier this week alongside the Windows 10 operating system.
With Google Glass hitting the pause button while they figure out the message they are trying to send to the public, it couldn’t have come at a better time for the HoloLens – which is proof that virtual and augmented computing isn’t a space being solely explored by Google and Facebook’s Oculus VR.
No pricing or release date for the headset has been announced yet. However, according to one NASA staffer from the presentation video above, the space agency hopes to put the headset into use this summer.
